- Summative Assessment: After working on increasing vocabulary, students will create a class slideshow with each student responsible for a set of vocabulary words. The presentation of each concept can include text, images, meaning or concept map, and audio to convey the meaning of the identified terms.

The student will explore several stories at News in Levels. The students will be introduced to vocabulary related to digital literacy: purpose, relevancy, etc, as well as every day and academic words as selected by the teacher.
